This tropical flowering Houseplant is  a lovely gift and is  undemanding and will many years of pleasure. Grow it in a warm bright position with plenty of natural daylight , it will tolerate central heating and prefers heat , do not expose to cold conditions. Keep the compost moist ,but not wet and fertilise with a houseplant food every two weeks in spring and summer.
